Norway Part Six-Ski Museum and Viking Museum

Friday 4/3/15

Skiing and Scandinavia-what a romance. Everywhere in Sweden and Norway there are people skiing, down hill and cross country. Naturally then, Oslo has an olympic ski jump and ski museum called Holmenkollen. One exhibit was called Frihet På Snø or The Freedom of Snow. Adam, Kyle and I loved it all. I missed snowboarding back home with all my friends!

In the afternoon we went to the Viking Ship Museum. It contained three viking ships from 900-1100AD. They were burials for rich men or women, richly decorated and furnished. We also visited the Folk Museum with its outdoor old town.

At the top of the ski jump. Kyle zip lined down it upside down!
