To the top of Mt. Ulriken! It is the highest of the seven peaks around Bergen. We took the cable car up to the top. From the top on one side we saw the city and the water. On the other side there was snow and lots of it! To save some money and get some exercise we decided to hike down. When we bought our ticket ride up the man asked if we wanted a ticket down. We told him we were hiking down and he said it was slippery…
I bought a trail map at the top and it looked simple enough. Somehow we managed to get off the hiking trial and end up on a biking path. Then we were just walking down a semidry river bed. It was quite the adventure! We just kept walking down and used the cable car as a reference.
When we found civilization again we were starving! After a quick stop at the grocery store we made group dinner. Pasta with sausage and wine. We finished the night with a few games at the billiards bar next door.
